Miss Daisy Nottage

Miss Daisy, a smart hard working lady moved in 1970's from Nassau to the "Big Yard", the Bahamian nickname for Andros Island, to pioneer tourism on the family island. Out of the way for tourists, but not for serious in-the-know fly fisherman, the flats and cays in the north bight where big sports fishing best kept secret! Here's where Miss Daisy built Nottages Cottage creating one of the first and best bonefishing lodges.

Miss Daisy hosted cosmopolitan guests from around the world coming not only to fish, but relax and explore the beauty of Andros and its' rich forest and culture. A sharp business woman, Daisy upon retirement found two of the top young professionals in the industry, Captain Charlie Neymour and Fatiha Lamghari to continue developing the business.

Fatiha Lamghari

Miss Daisy now focuses on her long time passion of bush medicine and farming, she can make anything grow. Her knowledge of the islands rich botanical diversity is unique, combined with her medicinal experience using local plants for healing has given her a successful reputation among the Bahamian people.

Fatiha comes from Morocco and has a degree in Hotel Hospitality, with her international education and training in tourism in Europe, and Morocco she has added a few languages to her native Arabic. Fatiha can converse in English, French, Spanish, and German. She has a broad experience in working at a variety of international hotels before coming to the Bahamas. Her knowledge in managing guest services and hotel management includes fine foods and wine.

Her first position after she "reach" Andros was as an assistant manager for the Creek Side Lodge (formerly Cargill Creek Lodge), Fatiha focus was on business development and marketing the newly started 'Creek Side'. She also trained the new service staff in best-service practices within the hospitality industry. Her talents are also is in international cooking and banquet presentation.


Partnering her experience and skills with that of Captain Charlie Neymour's it was a natural to build their own business together on the opportunity presented by Miss Daisy's retirement. A new era begins for Nottages Cottage!
